About The Film
John Gray is a film created to show that sometimes in life, unexpected circumstances can completely change your world; that though the path looks painful, there is joy ahead; and often what we think gives us joy robs us of it.
“While the theme for John Gray is Joy, it’s also about finding the meaning in what you love and the journey that has to be taken for it to be worthwhile,” says Chris Pollock, one-half of the film’s writer/director team. “It’s about Divine appointment, friendship, and everyone’s dedication to futures that seem uncertain.”
The entire film, from story to submission to the festival, was completed in two months, despite the challenge of finding creative common ground, overcoming financial hurdles, and the pressure of a tight deadline. Through the hard work of a tremendously talented cast and crew, John Gray emerged, a work about which its creators are very pleased and thankful.
